Hello!  My name is Max Kitty.  I am a resident at Liberty Animal Hospital.  Several years ago, my dad was a soldier who was deployed to Afghanistan.  He loved me so much and he knew he wouldn't be able to care for me while he was deployed, so he took me to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. 

While I was there, I got sick and thin.  The director of the Greater Birmingham Humane Society, Jacque Meyer, brought me to Liberty Animal Hospital for treatment and I have been here ever since.  I was thin when I arrived, but now they tell me I'm too "fluffy," but I don't agree with that.

I enjoy lying around the hospital, especially on computer keyboards or papers when the staff members are trying to work.  I also enjoy sitting in the windows or at the glass door in treatment and monitoring the yards.  It's a rough life, but who else would keep all these people in line?
